Our Foundation level enables students to explore their interest in the arts through classes, workshops and excursions conducted by qualified teachers. By attending weekly classes, students are encouraged to express themselves through art, interact with others and discover the joys of art-making. Across our three centres, we offer 21 different programmes ranging from $20-$30 per class:

Nathanael Png is a Foundation level, performing arts student at ART:DIS who struggles with verbalising his thoughts and understanding instructions. To aid his development, his parents searched for enrichment classes and found an ally in ART:DIS. After learning more about Nathanael’s needs, such as his propensity to be triggered by raised voices, we endeavoured for classes to be conducted in a calm environment and not once has Nathanael had a meltdown at ART:DIS.
“Nathanael obviously enjoys art classes as he is enthusiastic every time we head to ART:DIS. For us, this is a positive start to discovering his talents and I believe together with his teachers, we will be able to bring out his potential,” his mother shared.
Sherman Low is a Foundation level Visual Arts student at ART:DIS. He developed an interest in drawing at a young age but would often feel overwhelmed and upset while drawing as he could not execute his ideas onto paper properly. Sherman’s parents consulted with his teachers at Rainbow School, and was advised to let him try art classes at ART:DIS.
11 years on, Sherman is still brimming with excitement as he attends our weekly drawing classes. His mother further shared that Sherman has become a more even-tempered young man. “I would recommend ART:DIS to all parents because their small class size is very suitable for children with disabilities and the teachers are very experienced,” Sherman’s mother added.
