Light My Path is an annual year-end fundraising campaign by ART:DIS, aimed at raising funds to support the disability community we serve. This digital campaign will be executed across the ART:DIS website (for electronic giving) and through Giving.sg.

The funds raised will be directed towards creating new pathways and sustaining livelihoods for individuals with disabilities, particularly addressing the critical needs that arise after they finish their schooling years. Over the past years, we have witnessed a significant increase in the number of clients we serve. As of FY23/24, we experienced a 25% growth compared to previous years, and this figure is expected to rise annually as more graduates from Special Education (SPED) schools find themselves without sufficient community programs to support them after completing their education.

Each year, approximately 450 students graduate from SPED schools, but only 50% of them are able to transition into higher education or employment, leaving the other half at risk of social isolation and a lack of meaningful engagement. In FY23/24, ART:DIS served 870 clients, providing a wide range of arts-based social activities and livelihood opportunities.

As part of our Light My Path FY24/25 campaign, every donation of $20 will come with a calendar featuring artwork created by our talented artists, and every donation of $50 will come with a set of 12 greeting cards. All proceeds will go towards empowering individuals with disabilities by opening up new pathways and ensuring they have the support they need to sustain their livelihoods, particularly during the critical post-schooling years. For enquiries, please email donate@artdis.org.sg
