Inspired by nature documentaries on television, the artist presents a colossal two-legged Ocean Titan, towering from the seabed to the clouds above. Various shades of blue depict the ocean and sky, while black paint is used on Titan to accentuate its imposing presence. Surrounded by bubbles, the solitary Titan challenges the viewer to consider the nature of its existence, straddling the ocean and the sky.

Thilak enjoys using watercolours and acrylic paints to express his emotions. An avid fan of National Geographic Wild, he is very interested in the natural world and would often feature animals and the environment in his art. The Artist-In-training level at ART:DIS has also trained him to depict the natural world more realistically.
Thilak enjoys painting as it is a way for him to express himself and his emotions. His works were showcased at the Singapore Youth Festival 2018 Art Exhibition. Thilak has also received a Certificate from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth for his artwork Our Animals.
