ART:DIS organised our inaugural virtual race, bringing together non-disabled individuals from all walks of life to run or walk in support of persons with disabilities. From 12 March – 15 April 2022, more than 2,300 racers clocked a total of 217,322km, which is about 1,448 times around Singapore!

Many would not have crossed the finish line without the encouragement of our ambassadors. Throughout the race, our students Choo Jun Wei, Sebastian Ng, Alexavier Ang, Janel Jiang and Leann Eng cheered racers on. Their stories of how the sports and arts helped them develop cognitive and psychomotor skills, as well as broadened their friendship circles, inspired many racers to go the extra mile for greater diversity in society.

At the end of this event, over $29,000 was raised in support of ART:DIS’s cause and we would like to extend our appreciation to all stakeholders, especially NTT Ltd, that contributed to the success of this race!
