Registration for the 19th edition of our ‘See What I See’ art competition, an annual competition which also serves as a platform for children, youths and young adults with disabilities to showcase their creativity, is now open! The theme for this year’s competition is My Heroes. Be it a costume-wearing vigilante from the movies, or someone who has inspired you in life, all of us have someone we look up to. Draw and paint this hero of yours and tell us why we should celebrate them! The competition closes on 15 October (6:00pm) so be sure to submit your artwork before then. Here are some details to note:

  • There are three categories to participate in: Child (participants aged 6–12 years old), Youth (participants aged 13–20 years old) and Young Adult ) (participants aged 21–35 years old).
  • There are 9 prizes to be won for each category: First prize, Second prize, Third prize, 5 merit prizes and 1 public choice prize.
  • Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by ART:DIS.
  • Submitted entries must be an original artwork completed within the last 6 months, in A3 size, unframed/unmounted and be a 2D artwork in the following media (oil, poster paint, acrylic, watercolour, pencil, pastels, charcoal, crayon, dye or mixed).
