The English Channel Swim for Inclusion is a fundraising campaign initiated by a group of 4 avid swimmers for a cause which is close to their heart – an inclusive Singpapore where everyone has equal access to opportunities, no matter if they have a physical, sensory or intellectual disability. The swim team consists of Mr Lim Chee Kiong, Mr Ng Chee Soon, Mr Alvin Tam Fei Hung and Mr Mark Tan Sia Hwee, and at a total combined age of 200, they will be Singapore's first team to relay swim 34km in open water from the south of England to the north of France.

They will attempt this ardours feat during 19–22 July 2023, with water temperatures expected to be 14–17°C. “We will take about 12 hours to finish the swim, but these children face difficulties every single moment. Now that there’s a greater meaning attached, we shouldn’t fail. We’re going to try like crazy to succeed and we are all really excited,” said Mr Lim. With the rigorous training regimen they are on to prep for this challenge, cheer them on by donating generously to their campaign!

All funds raised through the campaign will be 100% donated to ART:DIS to support programme expansion, creating opportunities for persons with disabilities in the arts. Donations to the campaign will be tax-deductible (with a minimum donation of $50) and will be matched $1 to $1 by the Tote Board.
